The THC urine rapid test enables early and reliable detection of THC-COOH from a detection limit of 5 ng/ml. This makes it ideal for self-monitoring before possible legal consequences arise.
Important note: The legal limit for THC in the blood while driving is 3.5 ng/ml in Germany, does not apply to Switzerland! A positive test result may indicate an increased risk.
Individual metabolic differences
Everyone metabolises THC at a different rate. Factors such as body weight, metabolic rate and genetic predisposition influence the concentration of THC in the blood.
Long-term storage of THC
THC is stored in fatty tissue and is slowly released over days or even weeks – even when no acute effect can be felt.
Regular consumption & overestimated driving ability
Long-term users develop a tolerance and may misjudge their driving ability. Nevertheless, the THC level in the blood can exceed the limit and result in legal consequences.
The test is easy and straightforward to use:
A THC urine test detects THC metabolites (THC-COOH) and is often used for drug testing, workplace testing or legal proceedings. A positive result indicates past use, but does not necessarily indicate acute influence.
