| Note for the incense bowl: | Use the bowl only with incense sand, so that the glaze or bowl remains protected. If the bowl comes into direct contact with the glowing coal, it may shatter, so use only with sand as a base! |
| Use with incense charcoal: | First put incense sand in the bowl and on top of it the incense charcoal, which you can then light as usual. The incense sand protects the bowl from the high temperature of the coal. |
| Use for incense sticks: | Put enough incense sand in the bowl and put your incense sticks in the sand as desired and light this. Make sure that the stick is firmly held in the incense sand. |
| Use with incense cones: | Add sand to the incense bowl and place traditional incense cones on the sand and light them at the tip as usual. Note that reflux incense cones are not suitable for this use. |
