These terpenes are 100% pure, so they must be handled with care and should never be consumed without being mixed with the desired product (except in cold tastings where terpenes are used in their pure state).

Once diluted in the desired product and in the correct ratio, terpenes are 100% safe and provide flavours and other benefits.

1ml of terpenes = 40 drops (0.025ml per 1ml drop), so 1 drop of terpenes equals about 0.25% of 10ml of liquid base:

1 drop in 10ml = 0.25%
2 drops in 10ml = 0.50%
4 drops in 10ml = 1%
8 drops in 10ml = 2%
12 drops in 10ml = 3%

*It is recommended to test the amounts starting with the lowest amount as our terpenes have a slightly intense aroma and flavour when used.

Liquid Vaping Bases (for making e-liquids).

The recommended and most commonly used amount of terpenes to give e-liquid bases sufficient flavour is between 1 and 3% terpenes (you can use up to 4 terpenes, but the most common amount is 2%).

For example, if you want to add 2% terpenes to 10 ml of e-liquid base, you only need to use 0.2 ml of terpenes, and for 100 ml of e-liquid base and 2% terpenes, you should add 2 ml.

Cannabis extracts and concentrates

The recommended and most common amount of terpenes used to add sufficient flavour and aroma to dry extracts (dry hash or traditional hash), jelly, BHO (wax, shatter, live resin...), rosin or THC and CBD distillates is between 1 and 3% terpenes (you can use a maximum of 4%, but the norm is 2-3%).

For example, to add 3% terpenes to 10g of cannabis concentrate like Clear, a type of distillate, you only need 0.3ml of terpenes.

We strongly recommend testing the amount you use and start small - for example 1 drop for 3g, 1 for 2g, 1 for 1g - and then wait a few days to try it out and find out what amount works best for your specific taste, depending on the proportions you use.

It's important to mix your creation properly so that the results are even and balanced, and you should let it steep for at least 24/48 hours before consuming it so that the terpenes can be fully absorbed.

Another great way to add terpenes to extracts is to use Terps Spray.

Hemp or Cannabis Flower

Terpenes can also be used to enhance and improve the flavour of hemp or cannabis flowers (buds). It is not recommended to add more than 4% terpenes to the flowers, and in some cases you may even need to use less, as the flowers may already contain some of their own terpenes. An excess of terpenes can create an intense aroma that can be too much and not at all pleasant.

The ideal way to use terpenes with flowers, buds and dry herbs is to use Terps Spray.

Our articles tell you everything you need to know about Terps Spray:

For smaller quantities (1g to 10g), it may be more convenient to spray a sheet of dryer paper with a few drops of terpenes and place it in an airtight container next to the dried flowers - they should smell much better after a few hours.

We recommend storing the flowers in airtight and/or vacuum-sealed containers as this allows the terpenes to be fully absorbed into the flowers, resulting in a more even and balanced experience.
Edibles and beverages

The correct amount of our terpenes (cannabis flavours) recommended for edibles and beverages is much lower than that used in e-liquids and cannabis products.

The amount of terpenes always depends on the base of the prepared food or drink and the process used.

We recommend the use of terpenes in cold processes and when there are no pressure changes (e.g. vacuum drying), as this prevents possible evaporation and allows them to dissolve completely and be absorbed into the food or beverage.

Some examples of the proportions used in foods and beverages are:

Ice cream: from 0.025 to 0.1 ml for about 1 kg, depending on the desired intensity
Beer: from 0.01 to 0.05 ml of terpenes for about 1 litre of beer, depending on the type of beer, the time of addition of the terpenes and the desired intensity.
Soda water: from 0.01 to 0.05 ml for approx. 1 litre of water, depending on the desired intensity.
Oils: 0.1 to 0.3 ml of terpenes per approx. 1 litre of oil, depending on the intensity.
