The taste of FRED Classic is based on an American Blend mixture, which consists of three types of tobacco: Virginia, Burley and Oriental.
100% natural (no additives)
The Virginia tobacco comes mainly from the USA and is dried using warm air. Its leaves are light golden to orange in colour and develop their aroma particularly in the mouth.
Burley tobacco is darker, chocolate-coloured and comes mainly from Europe. It gives the smoke a slightly salty and nutty note, which is particularly noticeable in the throat.
The Oriental tobacco leaves are smaller but very aromatic. They come from Greece and Turkey and are traditionally dried in the sun.
FRED cigarettes contain a higher proportion of Oriental tobacco than other cigarettes, which gives them a sweet aroma that is particularly noticeable when inhaled.
