500 pupae Against whiteflies Pest: The larvae of whiteflies sit on the underside of leaves of various plants and suck plant sap. Black rust fungi form on their excretions. Solution: The tiny ichneumon wasp Encarsia formosa measures 0.6 mm and lays its eggs in the whitefly larvae. After about 2 weeks, the parasitized larvae turn black. A hatchling wasp then hatches from the larva thus killed. Application: Order the beneficial wasps when observing the first pests and ideally repeat the treatment. One package is sufficient for the treatment of about 5-10 plants, depending on the infestation. The ichneumon wasps are supplied as pupae and are active at temperatures above 18°C. Use only in greenhouses, winter gardens or on houseplants!
